The rules that govern your use of the Kohin AI TechK platform.
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Kohin AI TechK Smart QR Attendance & ID Card Management System (the "Service"), provided as a multi-tenant SaaS platform to schools ("Schools"), Sub Admins, Teachers, Parents, Transporters and Students (collectively "Users"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a School, you represent that you have authority to bind that School.
The Service includes QR-based attendance management, digital ID card generation, fee payment collection and invoicing, relative pickup authorization, real-time transport tracking, offline scanning with auto-sync, analytics/reporting, and multi-state sub-admin hierarchy management, delivered via a React.js web admin panel and a Flutter mobile app.
schoolId.Access to the Service requires an active paid subscription as described on our Pricing page, billed per student, per year (or as agreed in an Enterprise contract). Fees are payable in advance and are subject to our Refund Policy. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable prior notice before your next renewal.
Schools retain ownership of all data they input into the Service, including student records, attendance logs, and payment history ("School Data"). We act as a data processor on the School's behalf and will not use School Data for purposes other than providing and improving the Service, except as described in our Privacy Policy.
You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service; (b) use the Service to store or transmit unlawful, defamatory or harmful content; (c) attempt to bypass rate limiting, authentication or data-isolation controls; (d) resell or sublicense the Service without written authorization; or (e) use QR/ID card features to misrepresent identity or authorize pickups fraudulently.
The Service, including its software, design, templates and branding, is the property of Kohin AI TechK and its licensors. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant Schools a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service during an active subscription. ID card templates provided within the platform may be customized by Schools for their own internal use.
The Service is provided "as is" with reasonable efforts toward the uptime SLA stated on our website. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kohin AI TechK shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including reliance on transport-tracking or notification features, which should not be treated as the sole safety measure for student pickup/drop.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for breach of these Terms, non-payment of fees, or misuse that risks the security of other tenants. Schools may terminate their subscription per the cancellation process described in our Refund Policy. Upon termination, School Data will be handled per our Privacy Policy and applicable retention obligations.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India, unless otherwise agreed in a signed Enterprise contract.
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via the platform or email at least 15 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
